Mitsubishi Acrylic Resin BR-113 is a thermoplastic acrylic resin with excellent properties.

Product Characteristics

• Physical Properties: Appearance is white non-dusty particles, in the form of rounded and fine beads, similar to powder. Non-volatile content > 98.5%, solid acid value is 3.5mgKOH/g, glass transition temperature (Tg) 75℃, molecular weight (Mw) 30,000, with a certain degree of hardness and not easy to brittle.
• Chemical Properties: It belongs to methyl methacrylate copolymer, which is a hardness improvement of BR-106. It has excellent resistance to alcohol and gasoline, and can resist the erosion of alcohol solvents and gasoline. It has good adhesion to plastics, especially ABS substrate, and also has low VOC, excellent pigment dispersion, quick drying and other characteristics.
• Solution Characteristics: 40% Toluene solution has high transparency, color number (Gardner) <2, viscosity 250 – 340mpa.s (25℃), soluble in ketones, esters, aromatic hydrocarbons and other organic solvents, such as butanone or toluene can be quickly dissolved, dissolved to form a clear and transparent liquid, easy to process and operate.

Product Applications

• Coating field: It is suitable for a wide range of coatings, such as automotive coatings, which can be used for coating the surface of automobile bodies, providing good weather resistance, scratch resistance and gloss; plastic coatings, which have good adhesion to ABS, PS, PP and other plastics, and can be used for coating plastic home appliances, PP plastic products, wheels, etc.; wood coatings, such as furniture paint, floor paint, etc., which can effectively protect the wood and provide good decorative properties; It can also be used in marine paint, container paint, road marking paint, concrete sealing paint, etc.
• Ink field: suitable for printing ink, packaging ink, etc., can provide good printing performance and color stability, such as cigarette box ink, etc..
• Other fields: it can be used in adhesives, leather coatings, etc. It has excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates (metal, plastic, wood, etc.) and can meet the needs of different application scenarios.
