Product Overview

Miki Epoxy Resin 828 is an excellent bisphenol A liquid epoxy resin, equivalent to the domestic E-51 epoxy resin.

Product Characteristics

• High epoxy value: usually around 0.51 – 0.54eq/100g, high epoxy value makes it has good reactivity, can cross-linking reaction with many kinds of curing agents to form curing products with excellent performance.
• Moderate viscosity: the viscosity is 11000 – 14000mPa・s at 25℃, good fluidity makes it easy to operate in the application process, and it can be uniformly coated or impregnated on the surface of all kinds of materials, and at the same time, it is easy to mix with other additives.
• Light color: Generally colorless or light yellow transparent liquid, the feature of light color gives it an advantage in some application scenarios that require color, such as decorative materials, light-colored paints and other fields, without obvious impact on the appearance of the final product color.
• High solid content: up to 99.9%, high solid content means that the product has high content of active ingredients and few impurities, which can ensure stable and reliable performance after curing.
• Strong adhesive strength: it has excellent adhesive strength to metal, ceramics, glass, wood and many other materials, and can be firmly attached to the surface of the object, so it is widely used in the field of adhesives, and can be used for structural bonding, repair, etc.
• Good insulation: good electrical insulation properties, after curing the formation of an insulating layer can effectively prevent current leakage and short-circuit, suitable for electrical and electronic field of insulating materials, such as circuit board encapsulation, wire and cable insulation protection.
• Good stability: small curing shrinkage, good dimensional stability of the product, in different environmental conditions can maintain a stable shape and performance; and alkali and most of the solvent stability, good chemical resistance, can be used for some need to resist chemical erosion of the occasion.
• Excellent mechanical properties: high hardness after curing, good flexibility, not only can withstand a certain pressure and impact, but also not easy to brittle crack, to meet some of the requirements of the mechanical properties of the application, such as the preparation of composite materials.

Product Applications

• Electronic industry: It is mainly used as encapsulant, potting compound, impregnating material and casting material in the electronic industry, which can protect the electronic components from the influence of the external environment and improve the reliability and stability of the electronic equipment.
• Coating field: it can be used as adhesive, solvent-free coating, self-leveling flooring material, etc. It has good corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance and decorative properties, and is widely used in the surface protection and decoration of construction and industrial equipment.
• Composite materials: Combined with glass fiber, carbon fiber and other reinforcing materials, it can be made into high-performance composite materials, which are used in aerospace, automotive, marine and other fields to improve the strength and durability of the structure.
