LANXESS Inorganic Pigments BAYFERROX Iron Oxide Red 4130 is an inorganic pigment with a wide range of applications.

Product Characteristics

• Color characteristics: belongs to the blue phase red synthetic iron oxide inorganic pigment, bright color, high coloring power and high covering power, can give the product a distinctive red tone.
• Strong stability: it has excellent light resistance and weather resistance, and is not easy to fade under long-term light and different climatic conditions. Its heat stability is excellent, temperature resistance can reach 800 – 900 ℃, in the high temperature environment can still maintain color stability. At the same time, it also has good acid and alkali resistance, insoluble in water, mineral oil, vegetable oil and organic solvents, not easy to produce color bleeding phenomenon, and has good color fastness in the process of high dispersion.
• Crystal structure: hematite structure, bluish color compared with some products of the same series.
• Good dispersibility: Delivered in powder form, 4130FM is an ultrafine version of the product with excellent dispersibility.

Product Applications

• Coating industry: It is suitable for all kinds of coatings, including water-based interior and exterior wall coatings, powder coatings, oil-based coatings (e.g. epoxy, alkyd, amino, etc. primers and topcoats), toy paints, decorative paints, furniture paints, electrophoretic paints and magnetic paints, etc., which can provide good color performance and anti-corrosion protection.
• Building materials: It can be used for coloring all kinds of precast concrete parts and building product materials, such as walls, floors, ceilings, pillars, porches, pavements, parking lots and so on. It is also suitable for building ceramics and glazed ceramics, such as face tiles, floor tiles, artificial marble, etc.
• Plastic industry: It can be used for coloring thermosetting and thermoplastic plastics, providing a stable red color for plastic products.
• Other fields: It can also be used for coloring paper, rubber, leather, etc., as well as in products such as artificial lawn, fertilizer, fiber cement, and casting sands.
