Product Characteristics

• Good heat resistance and cold resistance: compared with the commonly used diisooctyl phthalate (DOP), DOTP has better heat resistance and cold resistance, and can maintain good performance in a wide range of temperatures to meet the requirements of use in different environments.
• Low volatility: characterized by difficult volatility, it can effectively reduce the loss of volatility in the process of use, thus prolonging the service life of the products and helping to reduce the pollution of the environment.
• Strong anti-extraction: It is not easy to be extracted by water, oil and other solvents, and can be better kept inside the products when it comes into contact with other substances, so as to maintain the stable performance of the products.
• Good softness and electrical insulation performance: it can give the products good softness, at the same time, its electrical insulation performance is excellent, can meet the wire and cable and other products with high requirements for electrical insulation performance of the production needs.
• Excellent environmental protection: DOTP does not contain phthalates, and is not in the range of 16 phthalate-containing plasticizers restricted for use in the EU and other countries, so it is an environmentally friendly plasticizer with obvious advantages in the context of increasingly stringent environmental protection requirements.

Product Applications

• Plastics industry: It is mainly added to polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and other plastics as a plasticizer to improve the flexibility and processing performance of the material. It can significantly improve the elasticity, abrasion resistance and weather resistance of PVC, making it suitable for a variety of applications such as cable sheathing, flooring materials, wall decorations and so on.
• Rubber industry: Used as a plasticizer in rubber manufacturing, it can enhance the flexibility and durability of rubber, effectively improve the elasticity and anti-aging properties of rubber, so that rubber products can maintain good performance in a variety of environmental conditions.
• Coatings and inks: It can be used as plasticizer in coatings and inks to improve the flexibility and adhesion of the coating film. Due to its low volatility, it can also improve the durability and weathering resistance of coatings and inks, and is suitable for applications with high coating requirements.
• Other fields: It is also used in the production of artificial leather film and plasticizing of acrylonitrile derivatives, polyvinyl butyral, nitrile rubber, nitrocellulose and so on. In addition, it can also be used as plasticizer for synthetic rubber, coating additive, precision instrument lubricant, lubricant additive, paper softener and so on.
