Clariant Wax 9615A is a high performance modified polyethylene wax ultrafine powder made from polyethylene wax and amide wax.

Product Characteristics

• Excellent surface performance: it can give the paint film anti-scratch, anti-adhesion, anti-abrasion, increased slipperiness and anti-metal scratches, etc., and also provide a smooth hand feeling.
• Good water resistance: it can greatly improve the water resistance and waterproof ability of the paint film.
• Improvement of matte performance: it can improve the arrangement of matte powder on the surface of the coating, so that the performance of matte powder can be better utilized, and it has no effect on the gloss of the paint film after adding.
• Good dispersibility: uniform particles, easy to disperse, can be added directly into the coating system, no need to grind.

Product Applications

• Coating field: It is suitable for the coatings of acrylic, alkyd, polyurethane and other resin systems, such as high-grade furniture paint and home appliance paint. In solvent-borne and water-borne coatings, it can strengthen the scratch resistance and reduce the coefficient of friction, etc. In wood coatings, it can make the coating have a surface soft touch; in powder coatings, it can be used as a high-efficiency degassing agent to improve the efficiency of extrusion process and optimize the fluidity of powder.
• Ink field: It can provide surface properties such as anti-abrasion, anti-scratch, anti-adhesion and increased slipperiness for ink, avoiding paper friction and abrasion of ink surface during high-speed printing, and preventing paper from sticking.
