Product Overview

Kuraray PVA Kuraray Poval 3-98 (PVA103) is a water-soluble synthetic resin.

Good water solubility: easily soluble in water, the dissolving temperature is generally 75-80℃, insoluble in almost all organic solvents.
Excellent bonding: good bonding properties, can make the coating and the substrate closely connected, for example, in the aluminum foil coating can provide good adhesion and durability.
Excellent film formation: aqueous solution is easy to form film, and the skin film has excellent physical properties such as tensile strength and abrasion strength.
Low hygroscopicity: the film has low hygroscopicity, and the change of hygroscopicity with humidity is smaller than other water-soluble polymer.
Strong chemical resistance: it has strong resistance to weak acids and alkalis, and excellent resistance to oil and grease.

Textile industry: It can be used to manufacture textile chromatography membrane to separate and purify biological products; as a fiber reinforcing agent to improve the strength and durability of textiles; used in the preparation of nanoscale fibers for textile medical applications; and can also be used to manufacture biodegradable textiles such as disposable surgical gowns.
Coating field: widely used in aluminum foil coating, it can improve the leveling and gloss of the coating, making the coating more beautiful and durable, and at the same time, with its weathering and chemical resistance, it can make the coating maintain stable performance in various environments.
Paper industry: Used in surface coating and varnishing, it can improve ester resistance, solvent and water resistance, improve fabric strength, and can also be used as binder in coating system.
