LONGBERG Rutile Titanium Dioxide R-996 is a highly weatherable general purpose pigment produced by the sulfuric acid process.

Product Characteristics

• High weatherability: through zirconium aluminum and other inorganic coating treatment, it is chemically stable, has excellent weatherability and anti-chalking ability, and can maintain stable performance under different environmental conditions.
• High covering power: it has good scattering and absorbing effect on light, and can effectively cover the color of the underlying object, and only a small amount is needed to achieve the ideal covering effect.
• Good gloss and brightness: strict control of particle size, so that the product has a high gloss and high brightness, made of white products with high whiteness, color stability, can enhance the appearance of products texture.
• Outstanding dispersibility: After special inorganic and organic surface treatment, it reduces the mutual contact surface between titanium dioxide particles, has good wetting characteristics, is easy to grind, and can be smoothly dispersed in a variety of systems, which is convenient for processing and use.

Product Applications

• It is suitable for powder coatings, waterborne and solventborne external coatings, high-grade color masterbatches, plastics, rubber, printing ink, high-grade paper and waxed paper as well as leather fabrics, etc. It is especially suitable for high-grade indoor coatings, high solid content paints, road marking paints, special paints for ships, etc., which have high requirements for weather resistance.
