Product Characteristics

• Hygroscopicity: It can absorb water in the air and is often used as a humectant.
• Low toxicity: 1,2 – Propanediol has low toxicity (LD₅₀ rat oral about 20 g/kg), can be used in food, medicine field (need to meet the safety standards).
• Thermal stability: high boiling point, non-volatile, suitable for high temperature environment.
• Chemical activity: esterification, etherification, oxidation reaction can occur, is the synthesis of esters, ethers and other intermediates.
