Product Characteristics

• Excellent adhesion: It is a chlorinated polypropylene resin modified with maleic acid, the chlorine content is about 20%, it has good adhesion on most of the polypropylene (PP) materials, it is especially suitable for the PP miscellaneous substrates which are difficult to be adhered, such as automobile bumpers, etc., and it can be used to exert the adhesion on the polyolefin without the condition of corona, flame, and other surface treatments.
• Good compatibility: good compatibility with other resins, can be used alone or mixed with other resins to make primer.
• Good chemical resistance and weathering resistance: it has good resistance to gasoline and alcohol, and can maintain the stability and durability of the coating in some harsh chemical environments, such as in automotive coatings that can withstand 40 degrees of blisters for 10 days and other test conditions.
• Excellent processability: excellent adhesion at low baking temperatures, helping to save energy and reduce production costs. It has good flexural properties, so the coating is less likely to crack or peel when subjected to bending or stretching.

Product Applications

• Coating field: It is mainly used in the primer of polypropylene plastics to improve the adhesion between the coating and PP substrate, widely used in the field of automotive coatings, toy coatings, etc. It is especially suitable for the coating of PP parts such as automobile bumpers.
• Ink field: It can be used as adhesion promoter in PP plastic ink, etc., which makes the ink adhere more firmly to PP substrate and improves the printing quality.
• Adhesive field: It can be used as binder for PP, PET, ABS, PVC, etc. It can improve the adhesion of adhesive to these plastics, and can be used in the production of plastic composite binder and PP adhesive.
