In addition to technology adoption, this initiative emphasizes educational programs tailored for all levels of the workforce, from aspiring workers to executives. By creating partnerships with various stakeholders including community colleges and government agencies, the initiative aims to develop comprehensive training programs to address workforce challenges in the manufacturing sector. Direct engagement between industry partners and students is a critical component of this initiative. For example, Flex has previously collaborated with MIT researchers and students to innovate solutions for electronics manufacturing.
